Alexy Sacrebleu of Aksum
Alexy Sacrebleu of Aksum is the third foundation queen in our sex-linked red breeding program. As a blue torbie (also called blue cream tortoiseshell, which is one of the sources of her name) with both blue and cream coat colors blended together, Sacrebleu's coat color is a dilute of the ruddy torbie. Sacrebleu's mother is a beautiful ruddy torbie queen named Alexy Lady Marmalade and her father is Cole, a ruddy carrying cinnamon and dilute. Rose, our now-retired cinnamon torbie, was our first Aksum sex-linked red queen. Sky, our first blue torbie, is the second sex-linked red queen. Sacrebleu and Sky will be retired this year to loving forever homes. Sacrebleu is now being pampered in her new home.
Sacrebleu is a beautiful example of this new sex-linked red color, with a very obvious torbie pattern. She has had three litters of kittens already, all of which had her wonderful personality. Sacrebleu is sweet-natured and very affectionate and when she was here, slept on our bed with us. Sacrebleu is at Alexy Abyssinians in North Carolina for her fourth litter of kittens, born February 1, 2011, and will be there having gorgeous kittens and has now been retired. Sacrebleu is in great health and was a wonderful mother.
Sacrebleu has been shown in New Traits for Abyssinians and gotten Merits each time. This means that she has passed the judging for the Abyssinian standard. The above pictures are of Sacrebleu at home
